About Me
My roots are in the Parelli University in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Here I built my foundation for Natural Horsemanship, receiving lessons directly from many talented instructors like Ryan Rose, Teri Sprague, and Pat Parelli himself. These lessons helped me to understand the clear steps required for understanding and training horses and creating the foundation for a strong relationship.
Following this time I went on to study under horsemen/women such as Elsa Sinclair, Martin Black, Jack Brainard, and Lauren Barwick. My time with these accomplished instructors has been tremendously valuable and I am extremely grateful to have had these opportunities. They showed me a wide variety of techniques and ideas which have helped to round out my own range of training tools and strategies.
With this knowledge and experience, I was able to earn my place in assisting Don Halladay, Kaye Thomas, and Devanee Cardinal with their many clinics they have provided. This time has given me great confidence in my abilities and knowledge, and at the same time it has given me the experience to teach individuals with a wide range of skill levels.
I was also able to work under Buddy and Devanee of Cardinal Ranch, starting many colts under saddle, and developing them into wonderful partners. To help better refine my skills, I have also taken a colt starting program with Pat Parelli.
Throughout my 18 years of working with horses, I have learned from, taught, and observed many different and talented riders, which has given me the confidence to show what I have to offer. I have only been in business for a short time, but have made a positive impact on many horse lovers and sold some amazing horses to happy individuals. To this day, I remain on a constant search for improvement of my own skills by taking more programs and learning from those who dedicate themselves to their art.
